Writer’s Navigation Session
Leave feeling inspired and ready to get into flow.
We’ve all had breakthroughs during deep conversations at the kitchen table with a hot drink.
The Writer’s Navigation Session is designed to feel just like that, with a focus on developing your book.
Because sometimes we need a mentor to join us in the trenches, to gain familiarity with our story without triggering our inner perfectionist -someone you don’t have to tidy up for!
I would be honoured to help.
If we haven’t met before, I’m Dr Georgina Green (George).
I’m a writing and self-belief coach.
Because I believe that when you learn your craft and use it with self-trust, that’s when the magic happens.
Skill with Self-trust is Magic.
Tune into what your story wants to be and see the wood for the trees.
In practical terms this could look like:
Seeing the overarching structure,
Identifying the genre,
Taking a deep dive into the character motivation,
Untangling a self-doubt story that is making you feel lost.
Your session will inspire you, leaving you with renewed trust that you can make the book inside you a reality and practical steps to get there.
“I feel like I've finally got that 'hook' that always seemed to be missing that will allow me to really focus on what the main point of the book is.”
Sophie Flynn, author of All My Lies (Simon and Schuster)
“It was exciting when our conversation pushed me to consider ideas that would never otherwise have occurred to me! I love how much you know about how plot works, and the way you can take the ideas I already have and show me how they could fit into some archetypal plot structures.”
Pauline David-Sax
“I am forever indebted to the magnanimous Georgina Green, who immediately understood this story, the characters, and my writing voice. Because of that, this happened.”
Zelly Ruskin, author of Not Yours to Keep (forthcoming in late 2024).

A ninety-minute deep conversation focused on points of craft, points of mindset, and anything in between.
A recording of the call that you can revisit, so that none of our epiphanies are lost.

As a standard, I can read and annotate up to 2,500 words as well as look at outlines if you have them. If it would serve you, you can purchase an ‘add-on’ to extend the amount of writing you’ll receive feedback on to upto 10,000 words.
Annotated pages use Word's tracked changes and commenting tools to mark up your pages.
My annotations and comments might:
Highlight points of craft (whether strengths or weaknesses) so that you can grow as a writer.
Ask you to dig into character motivations so that you can see where you can go deeper.
Exemplify how you might rewrite more effectively, so you can see how nuanced points of craft work in practice.
Locate precisely where clarity is lost or narrative tension has gone slack, so that you can get a reader's perspective on your writing and keep future readers hooked.
